Smoothies are a great way to get greens into your diet. Got a smoothie recipe to share?

For a while, I was drinking chard smoothies. Found a recipe in Vegetarian Times magazine. The good thing about using chard is that the stem is soft enough to blend into drinkable pieces. Not sure 100% what the magazine recipe was, but this is what I did, which was modified based on what fruit was around:
  • Bunch of green chard (about 3 big leaves, or 4-5 smaller leaves)
  • Juice from half a lime
  • Pear
  • Apple juice to get the greens blended. Could also use kefir.
